Tsinghua University’s sustainability program aims to establish a leading platform for interdisciplinary research and collaboration with international partners to address sustainability challenges, through the lens of the SDGs. The university has established a partnership for sustainability education with the University of Geneva to equip students with a relevant theoretical knowledge and practical skill sets, as well as cross-cultural learning experiences. The Tsinghua-Geneva partnership resulted in the creation of the Solution Space and the SDG FabLab that houses a range of fabrication technologies and other tools, allowing students to quickly prototype innovations at a low cost.
